Accounting Studies (Post-Degree Diploma)
Curriculum Guideline
This program is intended for students with degrees in areas other than Business.
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree granted by a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada or elsewhere. If your studies were in a language other than English you will be required to meet the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ language proficiency requirement.
Applicants whose undergraduate degree is in business administration should also look at the program to determine if this is a more suitable program for you
Required Courses - Year 1 (PDD Accounting Studies)
- ACCT 1235 Principles of Accounting I and II; or ACCT 1110 and ACCT 1210
- ACCT 2320 Introductory Management Accounting
- ECON 1150 Principles of Micro Economics
- ECON 1250 Principles of Macro Economics
- BUSN 2429 Business Statistics I
- BUSN 3431 Business Statistics II
- ACCT 3310 Intermediate Accounting I
- ACCT 3410 Intermediate Accounting II
- 3 credit elective 3000/4000 level
- 3 credit elective 3000/4000 level
Students who complete the Year 1 required courses are eligible to receive a Post Degree Diploma in Accounting Studies.
A C+ overall average for the program is required for graduation with a minimum grade of C for each individual course.
A minimum of 70% of the required courses must be taken at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ.
