Graduation Requirements:

  • In good academic standing
  • A minimum of 50% (12 credits) of all coursework must be completed at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ
  • Time limit to complete the program graduation requirements: 4 years. Any courses completed outside of that time limit will not be usable. Students may seek the permission of the Department/Program to complete a credential outside the approved time limits.

Learning outcomes

At the end of this program, the successful student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate opening and closing of inventory boxes, reading packing slips, following & packaging work orders, and scanning. 
  • Demonstrate sorting products, reading a planogram, stocking and facing, pegboard stocking, recovery and pricing products.
  • Demonstrate hanging, folding, nubbing, sizing, security and price tagging.
  • Demonstrate scanning and bagging of groceries, stock rotation, checking product expiration, and best before dates.
  • Describe components of the Employment Standards Act of BC.
  • Identify common hazards in the retail and business employment area.
