Learn essential skills for customer service, retail, cashiering and hospitality with the Certificate in Customer Service and Cashier Training. Designed to assist you if you have had barriers to employment as an adult through various industries, including customer service, cashiering, retail merchandising, hospitality and tourism, this program will guide you through the customer service and cashier training process through classroom, lab and work experience components.
You’ll receive training in customer service, point of sale cashiering and counting, retail merchandising, communication and teamwork skills. You’ll also develop employability and job search skills and interview techniques. Gain real-world experience through a community practicum in the customer service or retail field and graduate with job-ready skills.
Paid education
As part of the StudentAidBC’s Adult Upgrading Grant, you may be eligible for funding to help with tuition fees, supplies and transportation.
